About Teatime Therapy
What We Do
:
Teatime Therapy is a senior companion service created to support aging individuals who wish to remain comfortably at home-and the families who want reassurance that their loved one is not alone. We provide calm, consistent, non-medical companionship centered on presence, conversation, and meaningful connection between our clients and their families.
We offer structured, consistent visits that support social interaction and daily engagement- and provide brief updates for families for reassurance.

Our Why:

Through both professional work and personal experience, it became clear that many older adults struggle not with a lack of care- but with a lack of connection. At the same time, families carry quiet worry: Did someone check in? Are they lonely even if they say they are fine? Are they eating well and staying hydrated? Are they taking their medication? Are they emotionally okay? Are they safe day to day?
Teatime Therapy was created to answer both the needs and questions of the family. We slow things down. We create moments of calm and conversation. A cup of tea is our visits ritual, but what we truly offer is reassurance, safety, dignity, and fun presence with each visit.
At Teatime Therapy, we believe every life holds stories worth telling- and being heard. As people age, opportunities to reminisce, reflect, and share meaningful memories often become fewer. Yet our clients carry rich histories, wisdom, laughter, and love that deserves time and attention. Teatime Therapy exist to be the listening ears- a calm, trusted presence where stories can unfold without interruption or hurry.
Reminiscing is not just a conversation; it is connection, validation, and comfort. Sharing memories helps preserve identity, supports emotional well-being, and brings joy. And what better way to do that than over a warm cup of tea?

Tea creates a gentle ritual, one that invites conversation, slows the moment, and makes space for reflection. Through tea and thoughtful companionship, we honor each client's journey and create meaningful moments that nurture both heart and spirit.
